Language Policy The school aims to foster students' bi-literacy and tri-lingualism. English-medium extended learning activities have been introduced in different subjects in junior forms. Various English activities have been arranged and sprinkled over the year and a NET teacher is responsible for classroom teaching. Various language rich activities and enrichment programs are organised to promote English learning environment. Putonghua is a compulsory subject. In order to enhance students’ interests in learning languages, English Morning Assembly, English lunch & after school programs, English and Chinese Debate Competition, Writing to newspapers, Writing contests, Chinese and English writing corpuses, School Newsletter, Chinese and English extensive reading schemes, reading awards, self-access online Chinese and English reading programmes and Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival, holiday enhancement courses have been introduced to students.
Learning and Teaching Strategies The school treasures pleasurable and interactive learning. E-Learning & STEAM Education are highlighted. Students are equipped with learning skills. Students' active learning attitude and critical thinking are enhanced through group discussions and presentations. Small-group tutorials and holiday enrichment courses and regular assessments help to enhance the effectiveness of learning. Visits, Field trips and exchange programmes have been organised for students to broaden their outlook, improve their communication capabilities and foster their self-management skills. To improve the effectiveness of learning and teaching, collaboration periods, lesson observations, team teaching have also been implemented.

Curriculum highlights: The school curriculum unfurled with diversity, embracing the eight key learning areas to broaden students' horizons and develop various abilities and generic skills. In junior forms, the medium of instruction of some of the lesson time of several subjects will be changed to English so as to enhance students' English proficiency. Citizenship, Economics and Society & Life and Society is a compulsory subject collaborating with World History, Chinese History, Geography and Moral Education for coordinating with the Senior Secondary Education System and improving students' skills in project learning. School-based curriculum focusing on the enhancement of schemes and coordination with the Senior Secondary Education System with the aim to improve the effectiveness of learning and teaching.
Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity Regular tests reinforce learning and help locate students who need additional assistance. Adjustment of the curriculum and teaching methods and supportive measures after school and during school holidays lend effective help to fruitful learning.
Approach to Integrated Education Our school adopts a whole school approach to promote integrated education. In order to nurture students’ potentials and build self-confidence, we offer individualized support such as training on social skills, expressive arts activities and interest groups. Remedial learning groups and assessment accommodation are implemented to raise students’ learning efficacy. To enhance communication between teachers and parents, regular meetings and discussions are held to solicit parents’ views on student progress.
Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students
Home-School Co-operation With warm support from parents, our school has won the honour of Meritable School in the Parents Respect Teachers Campaign for ten consecutive years.
School Ethos Our students are notably well-behaved. Notwithstanding, our school still places very strong emphasis on Discipline and Counseling. We have adopted a Whole School Approach, appointing all teachers to be class teachers. We integrate Discipline, Counseling, Voluntary Services, Civic Education, Social Studies and Moral Education into an entity. In Moral Education, messages are put across in morning assemblies, class teachers' time, seminars, small group sessions, weekly assemblies, the materials and activities devised by our teachers in Moral Education sessions. An award scheme has been introduced to encourage excellent performance in conduct, study, services and activities.

Life-wide Learning The Student Union, four Houses and more than fifty clubs and societies provided activities in different areas, including academic, sports, interest pursuits, uniform groups, services, arts and music. Participation in inter-school competition is encouraged.
