Mode Of Teaching

Mode of teaching at different levels Being inspired by Finnish education, we advocate experiential learning. We specially designed the "Forest Course" to equip students with problem-solving skills in nature. Curriculum integration and project learning are conducted. With only one class in each grade, students can actively participate in class and interact with others. The NET carries out activities to improve their English ability.

Number of test(s) per year 0
Number of exam(s) per year 3
Diversified Assessment for Learning There are three exams throughout the academic year. Performance in the major subjects is assessed through progressive evaluation. We also conduct classroom observation, questionnaire analysis, field trips, project learning activities, practical assessments, etc., to enhance students' learning effectiveness.
Streaming arrangement We offer tailor-made Chinese lessons for NCS students. Small group instruction is implemented in Chinese, Maths and English. Students are grouped based on their abilities. ISE is trialled out in P.1-3 by the NET in 2022-23. English-taught GS course is offered in P.6 to meet their learning needs.
