1. We inspire students to take a proactive role in learning by fostering a self-directed habit of organizing themselves for lessons.<br>2. The English Department effectively incorporated Drama in Education, which has proved to be very effective in enhancing students' language proficiency. <br>3. We promote quality life wide learning experience for students and help them develop a positive attitude towards learning.<br>4. We also implement a wide range of academic enhancement measures, including Academic Progress Award, Homework Award & Remedial Classes, etc.<br>5. We effectively promote environmental education. <br>6. Making full use of the CEG, we employ additional temporary teachers and clerks to enhance our effectiveness in learning and teaching. |
School-based curriculum |
1. Electives: 2X. We offer 10 elective subjects.<br> 2. Curriculum highlights: <br>(i) Our school has adopted Drama in Education into our Junior Level English Language education since 2001. The curriculum encourages students to experience and explore through "real life" situations, providing different opportunities for language enhancement.<br>(ii) The school promotes Other Learning Experiences through formal and informal curriculum. |
Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity |
Gifted Education Training Programme as well as Enhancement & Remedial Programmes to cater for the needs of the students every year. We have made use of the funding from After School Learning Support Scheme and Diversity Learning Grant to support students in both academic and non-academic fields. |

Home-School Co-operation |
Our "Parents-teachers' Association" was founded in 1993 and the school shares a very warm relationship with parents. Apart from the regular publication of PTA Newsletters, various activities such as parental education talks, interest groups, picnics, Respect Teacher's Day, voluntary service have been organized by the PTA. |
School Ethos |
1. We enhance students' whole person development by instilling positive thinking and moral values.<br>2. We have launched a "Leap Programme", in which students set their own targets based on their individual needs at the beginning of the school year.<br>3. With the implementation of "My Career Plan", students set their career direction and learn to equip themselves for the profession.<br>4. Collaborated with the Beihang Affiliated School of the Sister School Scheme, we run aerospace model workshops to promote national education.<br>5. The Guidance Committee organizes the Big Brothers Big Sisters Scheme. S.3 to S.5 students are trained to provide peer counselling for S.1 students.<br>6. We offer various awards in recognition of students' achievements.<br>7. Our alumni have given generous financial support to run overseas and mainland exchange programmes, guiding them in their academic studies and character development.<br>8. Our school offers a wide range of Co-curricular activities for students. There are 27 school clubs under the following categories - academic, art, social service, leisure, religious, sports and uniform groups. A well-organized Students' Association provides leadership training activities for students. The four Houses – Red, Blue, Yellow and Green, develop students’ multiple intelligence through organizing a wide range of Inter-house competitions. |
