School Development Plan Our main concern is to make teaching learner-centered so that students' full potential can be developed. Besides we are a science-rich academy with additional resources for enriching science literacy among students. Based on students' ability, each lesson is tailor-made. A "five-step" approach is employed. First, teacher will follow-up the pre-lesson assignment with students, which is followed by some motivation activities. The teaching objective is clearly stated then. What follows is an interactive teaching mode. Each lesson ends with a consolidation of the items covered. With this approach, learning motivation is enhanced. Besides, our school helps students to nurture good moral values. They are encouraged to learn actively. Teaching effectiveness is further strengthened by various teaching modes.
Teacher Professional Training and Development The school actively promotes the professional development of teachers to enhance teaching effectiveness. Teachers collaboratively prepare teaching materials, take part in peer lesson observation and share sessions to enhance professional development.
