Language Policy English and Putonghua are our school languages. Students are required to communicate with teachers in English and Putonghua on campus. English is our medium of instruction. Chinese language lessons are conducted in Putonghua at S.1 as well as S.2 and selected classes at S.3 onwards. To enhance students’ language proficiency, we encourage our students to take part in international language examinations. Every year, a variety of language programmes such as drama, musical, debating and public speaking are organised to enrich our language learning environment.
Learning and Teaching Strategies Our spiral curriculum encompasses reading scheme, project learning, I.T. in learning and value education. We also nurture higher order thinking skills across all key learning areas. Developing students’ good learning habit is also one of our major concerns. In recent years, effort is made in devising differentiation strategies and nurturing a self-directed learning ethos to better cater for different needs of students.
