Approach to Integrated Education |
Our School has established Student Support Team to support students with special education needs. We encourage teachers to take related courses to enhance their capacities in catering for SENs. Our school uses ‘Learning Support Grant’ and ‘Grant for Supporting Non-Chinese Speaking Students with Special Educational Needs’ flexibly by hiring a counsellor and teaching assistants to cater for students with SEN. In collaboration with the professionals, such as speech therapist, school-based educational psychologist and school social workers, learning and training programmes for students with special needs are carried out to facilitate students’ development. We invite parents to participate in the meetings with teachers and the professionals to set up and review Individualized Education Program for students. |
