Language Policy To better cultivate students’ English ability in the school, all subjects except Chi. Language, Chi. Hist., Social & Cultural Studies and PE are taught in Eng. and will have extended learning activities conducted in Eng. In our monthly Eng. weeks, all teachers will communicate with students in Eng. in order to build an English-rich environment. PTH activities are also held during morning assemblies to enhance the atmosphere of communication in Putonghua.
Learning and Teaching Strategies Most subjects in our school, including Mathematics, Integrated STEM-Science, Integrated STEM-Physics, Integrated STEM-Chemistry, Integrated STEM-Biology, Integrated STEM-Information and Technology Studies, Integrated STEM-Living Technology, Integrated STEM-Design & Technology, Integrated Humanities-Geography, Integrated Humanities-History, Integrated Humanities-Finance & Accounting, Integrated Humanities-Economics, Integrated Arts-Music and Integrated Arts-Visual Arts are conducted in English and Extended English activities. Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity The employment of additional teachers in Chi. and Eng. has been funded by the Learning Support Grant. A small class policy in some subjects is adopted for students with particular needs in order to provide better care and give more support to students. A series of elite and remedial courses such as the courses for Form Three Graduation Examinations and remedial lessons are being conducted by our own teachers. The pull-out enhancement courses including Chin. Speech Training, Eng. Speech Training, Maths. Olympiad and Science Olympiad are provided to cater to students with different needs and abilities.
Approach to Integrated Education Members of the Learning Support Team include: Vice Principal, Associate Principal (SENCO), Academic Master, Chinese Language Support Teachers, English Language Support Teachers, Discipline and Guidance Teachers, School Social Workers and Educational Psychologist.<br>Through the whole-school approach, homework modification, assessment accommodation and individual educational plans are given to students under the advice of professionals. Students’ learning progress is evaluated at regular form meetings. Apart from regular meetings, the Learning Support Team organizes different workshops and school talks each year. <br>Under the Learning Support Grant, two teachers, a teacher assistant and speech therapist are hired to help enable an effective arrangement of learning support both inside and outside classroom.

School Ethos The school has a pure and honest spirit. Coupled with the emphasis on discipline and counseling, it is believed students will be endowed with morals and virtues. To promote students’ self-disciplinary spirit, various program, activities for school uniform teams and voluntary services are carried out. The Discipline and Guidance Committee works closely with the social workers to help students develop positive values and manners. <br>To provide care and guidance to students, a system of dual class teachers is in place. Students also enjoy the mentoring program, lunch at school and activities after school.<br>Our school was honorably awarded the Honor Award in ‘2022 Caring School Award Scheme’.<br>

Teacher Professional Training and Development We place much emphasis in teachers' professional development. Joint-school professional development activities are regularly organized with Vicwood K.T. Chong Sixth Form College in order to enhance the communication between the two schools. Professional Learning Circles are established to foster professional exchange among peers, with an aim to enhance the effectiveness of e-Learning and whole-class gifted education initiatives. Connections have been formed with a key high school in our motherland China, where sharing sessions among the sister schools are conducted to enhance the quality of teaching. Class observations are conducted by the principal, subject department heads and among colleagues and teachers of other schools to enhance the quality of teaching.
Life-wide Learning 1. The 'One Student One Art/Sport' program provides a variety of extra-curricular activities and learning experiences for students. The activities include different academic school teams, sports school teams, music school teams, performing arts school teams, uniform and services groups, academic clubs and interest classes such as Japanese class, Korean class, Spanish class, Magic class, Aerial Photography Class, K-PoP Class, Fencing class etc.<br>2.
